  Corwen is a small town along the A5 west of Llangollen on the Dee Valley.
  Which ever direction you approach from reach the middle of the town with the impressive statue of Owain Glyndwr and turn down the slope signposeted for Leisure Centre.
  Around a hundred yards along this road the ground is directly ahead, with carparking often available slightly further along to the right heading towards the rivert.

Corwen History & Honours
   Football in Corwen can be traced back to 1868 when a friendly match was played but it was 1877 when a Welsh Cup match was recorded.
 Corwen beat local rivals Bala in the Cup but were then heavly beaten by Bangor and in 1880 the club merged with Llangollen under the changed name of Mountaineers FC. By November1882 the club was once again known as Corwen.

  Eilir joined Ruthin from Corwen during November 2009 having previously played for Bala Town.  He began his football career with Wrexham FC as a member of the youth team.
