Cardiff Met
History & Honours |
Cardiff Met was formed as recently as 2000 through the merger of Inter Cardiff and UWIC. The student side won promotion from the Welsh League in 2016 and took its place in the Welsh Premier in August 2016. |

Caerphilly
born Christian Edwards enjoyed a lengthy playing career which included
one cap for Wales and began with Swansea and Nottingham Forest taking
in spells with both Bristol clubs and Forest Green. In 2007 he began a four year stint with Aberystwyth Town which included filling in as caretaker manager and then Director of Football. In 2011 he began his successful association with Cardiff Met. |

An Ipswich born goalkeeper Will was spotted by Ipswich Town whilst playing schools football for Suffolk. After being released by Ipswich he had trials at a number of clubs including Burnley and St Mirren before joining Salisbury City where he featured in the youth and reserve sides.

Goalkeeper Esa hails from Finland but joined Cardiff from USA side UTRGS Vaqueros during the summer of 2018. His previous clubs include Finnish side FC Inter where he was managed by former Bangor winger John Allen, and Pargas IF.

A defender who had Welsh Premier Dylan made half a dozen appearances for Aberystwyth Town during the 2016-17 season. A summer of 2017 signing Dylan began his career with Football League side Cardiff City where he spent years progressing through the club's academy structure.

Kyle McCarthy |
A small left footed Ebbw Vale based defender Kyle played youth and reserve team football Hereford United. He represented Wales U19s in 2011 where featured alongside current Bangor goalkeeper Connor Roberts and former Llandudno Junction striker Jake Cassidy.

Long serving defender and club captain who usualy plays as sweeper.

Emlyn Lewis |
A rugged centreback who worked his way through the Aberaeron youth
system before joining Aberystwyth Town. Did not make a league
appearance in two seasons at Park Avenue but has established himself
with Cardiff Met whom he joined in 2016.

summer 2017 signing Joel was captain of Hereford United as they rose
back through the ranks of English Non League football. He captained The
Bulls in their FA Vase Final Wembley appearance of May 2016. Hereford born Joel hs also played for Hereforshire junior side Westley.

Utility man Guto joined Cardiff from Bangor City during the summer of 2018. Guto, who hails from Abergele in North Wales, came through the club's youth and development structure to play regularly for the Welsh Premier side.
