| Berriew History & Honours |
|
Football has been played in Berriew since the
1800'S and has always been a very popular sport in the area. The first
game's
on record in Berriew was Berriew v Garthmyl on Good Friday 1899 and
Berriew v
Chirbury in 1905. Until the Second World War most fixtures featuring
Berriew
appear to have been either friendlies or cup games. |
